ALUMNI MEET - Nov 3,2024 Celebrating lifelong bonds, inspiring stories, and shared memories The GRS Alumni Meet at BIT Sindri was a heartwarming celebration of community and lifelong bonds. Held on November 3rd at 8:50 pm, the event welcomed alumni from the 1985 to 2019 batches, creating an evening filled with laughter, shared memories, and inspiring stories. Alumni shared thoughtful speeches, reflecting on their career achievements, personal growth, and challenges overcome, inspiring everyone present.
The event wasn’t just about reconnecting; it highlighted the unique sense of community and unity that defines the BIT Sindri and GRS family. We are deeply grateful to all who participated and contributed to this memorable occasion, proving once again that our shared legacy and lasting connections continue to shape a brighter future.

ORIENTATION 2024 Sept 26, 2024 The Gandhi Rachnatmak Samiti (GRS), founded in 1969 with the motto “No call is greater than public service,” recently held an online orientation for the Freshers batch of 2024, introducing them to its mission rooted in Mahatma Gandhi’s values of peace, creativity, and civic responsibility. GRS aims to foster a socially aware student community by encouraging empathy, leadership, and active involvement in societal issues, helping students grow beyond academics and make a meaningful impact.
On 26th September 2024, the orientation offered a warm introduction to GRS’s history and vision. Students were introduced to the GRS Library, a unique resource with a diverse collection of books beyond traditional academics. The session also highlighted GRS’s signature events, such as Director’s Cut, Place-Com and the Flagship Event- Kislay, which includes the General Election, Seedhi Baat, Navyansh. A lively quiz added a fun element, sparking laughter and friendly competition. The session concluded with a Q&A session.
ALFAAZ A pen is mightier than a sword, but both have their own battle to be fought. The pen is mightier than a sword, but both have their own battle to be fought. Gandhi Rachnatmak Samiti organized ALFAAZ, an online writing event, giving participants a platform to showcase their writing talent, refine their skills, and ignite creativity. With the tagline, "Let the ideas bang your brain zones," the event encouraged participants to channel their thoughts onto paper, decreasing the entropy of untapped ideas.
Participants were invited to gear up, pen down their thoughts, and seize the chance to bring out the writer within. ALFAAZ provided an inspiring space for juniors to express themselves and display the vigor of their creative minds.

CROSSOVER How far can your imagination go? The Crossover was an exciting online event offering a unique platform where fans witnessed iconic characters from different universes collide. Whether from series, movies, anime, or literature, these meet-ups explored imaginative "what if" scenarios, blending personalities from parallel worlds. Thrilling dialogues, unexpected collaborations, and intense rivalries captivated audiences as beloved characters engaged in crisp, out-of-the-box interactions.
The event successfully engaged students, sparking creativity and fan discussions as they watched their favorite characters take on new roles. The Crossover delivered unforgettable moments, fostering a sense of community and shared excitement for all fandoms. It was a memorable mashup of worlds where anything could happen!
TASTE TWIST Bring out the inner chef in you Taste Twist was an exciting online event where participants showcased their culinary talents by sharing concealed snaps of their past dishes or creating new masterpieces. The event challenged students to prepare a prodigious dish, well-presented and brimming with creativity. Participants were free to cook in any style or cuisine, with the added twist of giving their dish a unique name—especially if they were polyglots, allowing them to creatively baptize their dish in a different language. The event highlighted students cooking skills, from preparation to presentation, sparking fun competition and culinary inspiration. Taste Twist brought food lovers together, blending creativity, flavor, and a personal twist on every plate.
