INDEPENDENCE DAY 2024 Aug 15, 2024 Independence Day at GRS BIT Sindri was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The event began with the flag hoisting ceremony, led by the Director and esteemed professors, symbolizing the nation's hard-fought freedom and unity. The sight of the tricolor soaring high filled everyone with immense pride and patriotism.
The ceremony concluded with the collective singing of the National Anthem, a moment of reverence and solidarity among all present. Following this, a sweet distribution ceremony added a warm and joyous touch to the celebrations, fostering a sense of togetherness within the community.
The event served as a reminder of the sacrifices that shaped our nation and reinforced the values of unity, pride, and progress.

CLEANLINESS DRIVE On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti 2024 "The best way to find yourself is in the service of others," said Mahatma Gandhi, and in this spirit, a cleanliness drive is organized by the Gandhi Rachnatmak Samiti in collaboration with NSS. This event, held at 7 AM, brings together members from both organizations, united in their commitment to cleanliness and creating a sustainable world. Participants come together to honor Mahatma Gandhi's legacy, embodying his vision of a cleaner and more sustainable society. This drive serves as a tribute to Gandhi, highlighting his ideals of swachhta (cleanliness) and environmental responsibility. SARASWATI PUJA Celebrating the Divine Goddess Gandhi Rachnatmak Samiti (GRS), BIT Sindri, joyfully celebrates Saraswati Puja, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the epitome of wisdom and knowledge. The event brings together students in a spirit of devotion, cultural vibrancy, and artistic expression, fostering intellectual and creative growth. The celebration includes traditional rituals, bhajans, and artistic performances, creating an atmosphere of spiritual serenity. It serves as a reminder of the significance of education and the pursuit of wisdom in shaping a brighter future.

MANUEVER Reels on Diwali and Chhath Puja Maneuver 2.O is an exciting online reel-making competition organized on the occasion of Diwali and Chath Puja. Participants had to create and submit their own reels, capturing the essence and celebration of these festivals. Entries are submitted through a Google Form, making the process easy and accessible for everyone. The reels are posted on our Instagram handle, allowing the audience to appreciate their creativity. The winner of the competition is determined by the number of likes received on their reel. Many participants engaged enthusiastically and showed off their creative talents at this event. Their creativity and dedication transformed the event into a lively and joyful celebration.

REQUIN World Population Day Requin is an engaging event designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, starting with Mixte, an online quiz that tests participants' knowledge of business concepts and startup dynamics. Top performers advance to Deviner, where they compete directly against each other in interactive challenges and discussions, emphasizing critical thinking and creativity. This format fosters effective communication as participants develop innovative solutions in real-time. Requin not only enhances business knowledge but also encourages collaboration and networking among like-minded individuals, equipping participants for future entrepreneurial endeavors.

Stick a Note Reels on Diwali and Chhath Puja On World Book Day, Gandhi Rachnatmak Samiti organized a fun event called "Stick a Note" for all book lovers. The idea behind it was to bring back the excitement of storytelling we all enjoyed as kids—whether it was listening to tales or sharing our own. Books not only entertained but also taught us so much. The event encouraged participants to celebrate their love for reading by following three simple rules:

1. They mentioned a book they loved and added a note explaining why it was special.
2. They shared their favorite characters, moments, mysteries, or plot twists.
3. They tagged friends to share their opinions on different books.

This event brought readers together, sparking joy and connecting people through shared book experiences.

UNICUS Your perception is the reflection of you. Gandhi Rachnatmak Samiti presents-”UNICUS”- an event to showcase your imaginative skills through creative writing in the form of short story , poetry ,or self inference.It was a 4-day event where each day at 6p.m a google form link was shared in the facebook page.In the form a set of pictures were provided .Participants created a short story , poetry ,or describe of the set images in not more than 120 words preferably they have to establish a relation among the given pictures. It was a hard time for the participants to awaken their hidden omnificent inside them and concoct something amazing from their vision.It provides a medium to manifest their ingenuity. With UNICUS, the young penmen of BIT have revealed yet another dimension of the pics through millions of emotions included in a span of few lines.

ENIGMA CONSTRUE THE CONUNDRUM On the occasion of birth anniversary of two great freedom fighters “Mahatma Gandhi” and “Lal Bahadur Shastri”, Gandhi Rachnatmak Samiti is all set with its latest event “ENIGMA”- an engaging crossword puzzle to once again remember our heroes.How fortunate we are to be born in a land that has witnessed a number of people with uncanny wisdom and hardihood worth mentioning. The liberty we now enjoy is their atavism. It is high time to honor these unsung paladins and make them known to all. In the form and on our Facebook and Instagram page, clues are provided concerning some freedom fighters. In the event participants have to guess the personality and enter the respective names in the space provided.

VENUSTA Slogan Writing Competition Creativity doesn't wait for that perfect moment. It fashions its perfect moments out of ordinary ones. Gandhi Rachnatmak Samiti launched the event VENUSTA, a tagline or slogan making event curated to bring out something special from all Bitians out there. It captures the essence of an idea in a few powerful words. A great slogan is memorable, unique, and resonates with people on an emotional level. In this event, Students are provided a list of 15 brands from our side,upon which they can come up with interesting taglines or slogans and can win exciting prizes.
